Fucking in Tuscany

with residue
impact
resting
in bones
asphalt
& sea salt
leaving
sharp
bits of skin

with suitcases
full of sand
anchoring
the bed
&
the fan

standing
‘neath
the telly
with a beard
of dust
ready
to blow

&
my bloodied
bandages
flapping

sweaty surgical tape
& her cum
spread across
my thighs

icing sugar
& filthy wooden pillows
that lead nowhere
but a crime scene fridge

there are no encores
in the closet

& the men
sitting outside
are more concerned
with the amount
of prosecco
in their camparis
than the soft
moans
of their
patria’s daughter
