Paul Janko

Snatched me
a yelping
white
toy-poodle.

He's John
the Revelator
incarnate, but
I call him
Nancy.

Now
we’re three:
Nancy, me, and
357
Magnum (worth
every last cent).

So I can splatter
my pained brain
onto the ceiling
if need be.

And blow the
balls off he who
needs to have his
balls blown off.

On the mattress,
357
Magnum, Nancy
& me, watch our
favorite movie:
The Searchers.

John Wayne
doesn’t
pretend
his kidnapped
pre-teen niece,
squaw of Comanche
Chief Scar,
is redeemable.

Like me,
he knows
what has been
fucked
cannot be
un-fucked.
